FINANCIAL AID ADMINISTRATOR
Spertus College is seeking a highly motivated, professional Financial Aid Administrator. The Financial Aid Administrator reports to the Dean of Spertus College and is responsible for management of all financial aid and student loan processing for Spertus’ graduate students in Nonprofit Management and Jewish Studies.

Specifically, the Financial Aid Administrator:
- Checks the financial aid history of applicants
- Completes financial aid files for each student as appropriate
- Prepares financial aid entrance and exit packets
- Conducts financial aid workshops (entrance, exit, special)
- Processes all financial aid materials for each student as appropriate
- Submits data to the US DOE (FAFSA processing)
- Certifies loans on the ELM Network system and checks ELM disbursement data base for loan delivery
- Sends each financial aid student an award form and refund delivery notifications when loan funds arrive and disperses refund checks to students
- Completes and submits all IPEDS and FISAP data to federal government
- Works with the Accounting Department regarding admissions information, and receipt and delivery of funds
- Tracks student/SAP progress and reports unsatisfactory progress to the Dean
- Serves as main resource for financial aid information
- Assists in the preparation of the Annual Audit
The Financial Aid Administrator should have a four-year degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience processing federal student loans.
