Spertus Faculty
Gil Graff
Gil Graff earned a PhD in Jewish history at UCLA. A Spertus alumnus (BHL), Graff is a graduate of UCLA School of Law, and holds Masters degrees in education, history and Jewish studies. The author of two books and numerous articles in the field of Jewish history, Graff has served as Adjunct Associate Professor of Jewish history at American Jewish University (formerly University of Judaism) for more than twenty years and has been a visiting instructor at several other institutions of higher learning, including Hebrew Union College and Touro College. Dr. Graff, who has been a Lady Davis Fellow at the Hebrew University, a Charlotte Newcombe Fellow of the Woodrow Wilson Foundation, a Jerusalem Fellow and a Visiting Scholar at the Oxford Centre for Hebrew and Jewish Studies, is Executive Director of the Bureau of Jewish Education of Greater Los Angeles.
