Michael Gibbs

Dr. Gibbs currently serves as the Vice President for Development for St. Mary's University of Minnesota where he oversees the budget and staff of 12 for development and alumni relations. From 2001-2004, he served as the Assistant Vice President, Office of University Initiatives for DePaul University. During his tenure at DePaul, Dr. Gibbs also served as Special Assistant to the President where he coordinated the establishment of new degree and certificate programs in Brazil and Hong Kong, developed a multi-million dollar facility focused on the environment, and coordinated fundraising and community relations events and activities for the Office of the President.
Dr. Gibbs earned all his degrees from DePaul University, including a Doctor of Education, an M.S. in Management of Public Services, and a B.A. in Political Science.
Dr. Gibbs has taught classes in the School of Education and School of Computer Science, Telecommunications and Information Systems at DePaul University. He has been an adjunct faculty member at Spertus since 2003.
