Sherry Hunter

Mrs. Hunter currently serves as the Director of the Minority Internship Program at Chicago State University, where she has been employed for four years. Previous to that, she was a facilitator and coach for ToastMasters International and spent a few summers working as a Community Outreach Leader in Washington, D.C. for Quality Education for Minorities, Inc.

Mrs. Hunter earned an M.S. in Human Services Administration from Spertus College and a B.S. in Political Science from Chicago State University. She received a Certificate from the Management Development Program at Harvard University’s Institute for Higher Education and a Certificate in Leadership Development & Training from the Institute for Women in Higher Education Administration at Bryn Mawr College.

Mrs. Hunter was spotlighted in the August 2004 edition of Today's Chicago Woman magazine in their feature on “Learned Women in Education.”
