Spertus Faculty

Felix Matlock, Jr.

Mr. Felix Matlock, Jr. is the president of The Innovations Group, Inc., a consulting services firm that specializes in organizational development, strategic planning, governance, human resource issues and diversity strategies. He also serves as the Regional Vice President for Mercy Housing Lakefront. Mr. Matlock is the former Director of Program Services for Chicago Christian Industrial League and former President/CEO of the Aurora Family YMCA.

Mr. Matlock’s volunteer service includes serving as President of the Lawndale Business & Local Development Corporation, and Board member of Victory Gardens Theatre and Breaking Free Substance Abuse Treatment Program. He is a former Board member of Sinai Community Institute and AidsCare.

Mr. Matlock is completing his PhD in Applied Management & Decision Sciences from Walden University (abd), and holds a Master of Arts in Education from Springfield College.
