Charles R. Petrof
Charles Petrof is a staff attorney in the Fair Housing Project of the Chicago Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, Inc. His practice spans from class action litigation to individual fair housing enforcement actions and testing. He is one of the counsel representing plaintiffs in Wallace v. Chicago Housing Authority, the suit challenging the resegregation of CHA tenants from their public housing developments into the private market.
Prior to joining the Chicago Lawyers’ Committee, Mr. Petrof worked at the Legal Assistance Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago, specializing in subsidized housing. He is a 1995 graduate of Wayne State University Law School, Detroit, Michigan.
