DESCRIPTION

The newly merging Jewish Community Alliance of Wyoming Valley, Pennsylvania has an immediate opening for an Executive Director. The successful candidate will be a seasoned leader and manager who has the energy to drive change, and the vision and creativity to integrate multiple organizations and departments into a world class Alliance.

The responsibilities of the position include the full scope of a Chief Executive‘s accountabilities in finance, human resources, administration, facilities, capital projects and development management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years experience managing an organization, including some time in a senior role in a profit or nonprofit setting
  • MBA, MPA or equivalent combination of degrees and experience
  • Solid experience with Microsoft Office and/or project management software
  • Proven track record of leadership skills with emphasis on team building, delegation, continuous improvement, managing conflict and leading change.
  • Understanding of and familiarity with Jewish life and traditions, especially in a small community.
