Stanley Lapidos is a faculty member of the Department of Preventive Medicine at Rush University Medical Center. In addition to teaching at Spertus, he is an adjunct instructor in the Loyola Graduate School of Social Work, where he teaches courses on health care policy, community organization, and social intervention.
Mr. Lapidos has worked in a variety of administrative, planning and academic positions in both the public and private sectors during his 37 year career in the fields of aging, social services, managed care, teaching and research. He has worked in long term care, public service administration, managed care, and consulting, and has directed and coordinated a variety of interdisciplinary practice, training, and research programs focusing on the elderly and the chronically ill at Rush University Medical Center. He is a member of the Skokie Board of Health.
