ABOUT THE PROGRAMS

The Master of Arts in Jewish Professional Studies
The Spertus Master of Arts in Jewish Professional Studies (MAJPS) program brings a diverse group of Jewish professionals together to study the crucial issues in contemporary Jewish life, advancing their career opportunities and enhancing the contributions they bring to Jewish organizations and institutions. Students graduate having grown personally and professionally, cultivated critical leadership skills, built strong communal links, and gained insight into how to best meet Jewish community needs.

The Master of Science in Nonprofit Management
Since its inception in 1982, more than a thousand men and women of diverse backgrounds have received graduate degrees in nonprofit mamagement from Spertus. The Master of Science in Nonprofit Management (MSNM) program was initiated to further Spertus’ commitment to the community and continues to exemplify that commitment today. Graduates have improved the impact and effectiveness of many Chicago-area nonprofit and governmental organizations.
