Applesauce and sour cream are so passe. Time to bling up your latkes with new toppings. Chef Laura Frankel introduced you to an array of latke toppings from spicy to sweet, from bright red pomegranate to subtle salmon: eight crowning glories for the delicious crispy latke. Participants sampled her new versions and picked up tips on how to simplify preparation and how to store and serve the finished products.
Following the program, Chef Laura signed copies of her cookbooks, Jewish Cooking for All Seasons and Jewish Slow Cooker Recipes, available for purchase from the Spertus Shop.
