Chef Laura Frankel showed Passover rookies and veterans alike how to put together a fun and delicious Passover. Participants learned creative, delectable, versatile recipes for seders and all through the festival.

For those feeling particularly schmaltzy, Chef Laura will also re-introduced and explained the health benefits of an Ashkenazi flavor tradition: Chicken fat.

Following the program, Chef Laura signed copies of her books, Jewish Cooking for All Seasons and Jewish Slow Cooker Recipes, which were available for purchase.

Chef Laura Frankel is Executive Chef for Spertus Kosher Catering and the author of the Chosen Bites column in the Jerusalem Post. Chef Laura is a passionate teacher who has made it her mission to reimagine and revitalize the diverse and delicious traditions of Jewish cooking. She has written two books, Jewish Cooking for All Seasons and Jewish Slow Cooker Recipes, both available at the Spertus Shop.
