MAJPS Tuition & Fees

Master of Arts in Jewish Professional Studies

Tuition, Fellowships, and Scholarships 

For students in the United States, the cost of the two-year program is $19,000. Through a combination of fellowship and scholarship funds, students who work for Jewish organizations are eligible for a tuition reduction of approximately 60%, reducing the student cost to $7,500.

Additional scholarship support may also be available. Please discuss options with the Director of Enrollment Management.

Additional Fees
The cost for textbooks and materials averages $200 per year. Students will also be responsible for a graduation fee.

Student Loans
Students may qualify for loans through Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). MORE>

Student Loan Deferments
MAJPS students may submit an in-school deferment form, thus placing their current loans into a grace period and deferring payments until completion of the program.

Did You Know?
Tuition and fees paid out-of-pocket (i.e.: not covered by Scholarships, Fellowships, or Student Loans) for accredited higher education (like the graduate and certificate programs at Spertus Institute) may qualify for a deduction of up to $4,000 on your federal taxes, depending on your income. Check with your tax adviser for details.
