Creating impactful online educational experiences
In spite of the pandemic's weighty challenges, we are fortunate to live in a time when we can deliver impactful education remotely. Since the crisis began, more than 2,500 participants have taken advantage of Spertus programs online.
New Discoveries for Spertus Students
With Dr. Ben Outhwaite of Cambridge University, Spertus Institute students are exploring remarkable texts from the Cairo Ben Ezra Genizah and uncovering what they tell us about Jewish history and the cultural dynamics of medieval Cairo.
Peoplehood
Spertus Institute has added a new course to our curriculum: Jewish Peoplehood, taught by Dr. Shlomi Ravid and Dr. Ezra Kopelowitz. Spertus is a pioneer in bringing this subject to professionals working in the field.
