Holding yourself and others responsible is about more than assigning roles and assessing blame. In Jewish tradition, it is a discipline that involves being deeply honest with oneself and being available and present to others. With guidance from Dr. David Gottlieb, learn how this practice can transform how you view work and your life beyond.
Dr. David N. Gottlieb is Spertus Institute’s Director of Jewish Studies. He received his PhD in the History of Judaism from the University of Chicago Divinity School and writes for a range of academic and general-interest publications. He was the founding executive director of Full Circle Communities, a nonprofit philanthropic developer of affordable housing, and he teaches mindfulness at Orot, the Center for New Jewish Learning.
